Last Friday, the Helpthemove team joined around 300 people from across the property world at the Agents Giving Summer Ball 2025, where we were proud to be this year’s headline sponsor. Held at Denbies Wine Estate, the night brought together letting agents, estate agents, suppliers and partners for what turned out to be a really memorable evening, not just for the dinner and dancing but for the purpose behind it all.
Agents Giving is the industry’s official charity and they do far more than host great events. They exist to make it easier for people across the property sector to support the causes that matter to them, whether that’s through fundraising, food bank collections, sponsored challenges or community support projects.
They also offer grant funding to help agents cover the costs of running their own charitable events. That means more of the money raised goes directly to UK charities. Beyond financial support, they also help amplify campaigns through their platforms, giving visibility to the kind of work that often happens quietly in the background.
It’s practical, no-fuss support that enables more agents to get involved and it’s why we’ve supported them over the past year. Sponsoring the Summer Ball was a chance to do even more, and to stand behind an organisation helping to create meaningful change in the communities we all work in.
A big part of the evening was dedicated to recognising the people making that change happen. The Fundraising Champion Awards celebrated individuals and teams who’ve gone above and beyond this year. From local offices running bake sales and food drives to teams taking on marathons or cycle challenges, the stories shared on the night showed just how much heart exists in this industry. While we didn’t take home the win for Best Industry Supplier, we were flattered to be shortlisted and in great company too.

The evening was a chance to pause and think about the kind of industry we’re all part of. An industry that can be competitive and fast-paced but also one where people step up, give generously, and support their communities without looking for credit.
We’re grateful to Agents Giving for organising such a thoughtful and well-run evening, and to everyone who joined us in making it one to remember. It was a real privilege to be part of it.
